Welcome to Apprenticeship Career Connections 2012

We are excited to be back to host our 4th Annual Apprenticeship Career Connections Fair! We like to invite anyone who is interested in apprenticeships and careers in the skilled trades to attend this exciting, interactive event. In addition, we wish to extend an invitation to companies in Peel, Halton and Dufferin regions, currently employing apprentices in their workforce to join us. We have ample space to ensure that everyone enjoys the event to the fullest! We want to make this an interactive experience for students, people looking for retraining options, second careers and new Canadians. We look forward to seeing you at our event this year, hearing your ideas about how your display will be interactive with the public and plan to make your experience both positive and memorable.

This career fair is an integral component for apprenticeship programs that lead to excellent career opportunities and prepare future workers for success. As in previous years, local businesses, employers, high schools, colleges, universities, associations, unions, government services, community assessment agencies, and other organizations are invited to attend this one day event.

This career fair is designed to network everyone with information about careers in the skilled trades. Area high school students, new grads and their parents, new Canadians, workers looking for mobility or career change, those recently downsized or laid-off, the unemployed, the under-employed and those looking to return to the workforce will have the opportunity to explore options for successful employment in the new economic reality in Ontario.
